Scuba divers describe the PADI Rescue Diver course as the most challenging, yet most rewarding course they’ve ever taken. Why? Because you learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, and become more confident in your skills as a diver, knowing that you can help yourself and others if needed. The course is just fun – it’s serious, but still allows for lots of laughter. Practice all the rescue scenarios in our diving pool first and then join two dive trips around Koh Tao to apply your skills in the ocean.
We make it an experience of a lifetime! With a lot of patience and passion our Instructors help you to become confident to care and teach you how to react in a variety of emergency scenarios.
All divers meet in our beachfront bar to celebrate their newly gained certification with a graduation party! Exchange stories about your scuba experience with fellow students and enjoy a free drink while the sun sets on the horizon of Koh Tao.
You’ll learn how to deal with a variety of dive emergencies. Your Instructor will teach you what to look for and how to respond in different situations. During the rescue scenarios, you put into practice your knowledge and skills. Topics include:
Besides using basic scuba equipment (mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, BCD and a tank), you’ll also receive your own pocket mask to practice in-water resuscitation. During the exercises, you will also use an oxygen unit, floats, marker buoys and first aid kits. Your PADI Instructor will demonstrate how to use the equipment that you need.
With confidence, you have won before you have started.
